   military and political figure
   Born in Paris, Émile Félix, count de Fleury, after taking part in the coup d'état of December 2, 1851 was named aide-de-camp to napoléon III.He charged Fleury with several diplomatic missions and named him ambassador to Russia (1867). After the fall of the second empire (September 4, 1870), General Fleury became one of the leaders of the Bonapartist Party during the period of the Third Republic.
